Koch + Partner saved! OBERMEYER acquires Koch + Partner with Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek
OBERMEYER group has taken over the business of renowned planning office K+P Architekten und Stadtplaner GmbH Koch, Voigt, Zschornack. OBERMEYER acquired the company through an asset deal from insolvency administrator Dr. jur. Christian Gerloff. The acquisition was made by K+P Planungsgesellschaft mbH with the participation of Mr. Norbert Koch and Mr. Jürgen Zschornack effective November 1, 2016. On the acquisition of Koch + Partner, OBERMEYER group was legally advised and accompanied by the law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek with a team led by Munich-based restructuring expert Prof. Dr. Georg Streit. All jobs were saved.
Koch + Partner is a renowned Munich architectural and planning company, which consists of an interdisciplinary team of architects, urban planners, building engineers, and interior architects. Its planning activities focus on transport buildings, administrative buildings, schools, science and technology buildings, structural and development planning, land use planning, and urban regeneration. Current projects include the planning of various terminals, planning, consulting, and organizational services for an office and training building at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Munich or the planning of several childcare and care facilities in Munich.

K+P Planungsgesellschaft mbH will be managed by former managing shareholder Jürgen Zschornack, new general manager Michael Nahr, and shareholder Norbert Koch, who founded K+P 46 years ago.

Christian Gerloff after signing the purchase agreement. "The fact that the company was very well prepared for the insolvency application certainly increased its chances for successful continuation of business operations."
