An art collection with character
Since 1971, when Dr. Hans Günter Heuking and Dr. Wolfgang Kühn established the law firm, works of art have been acquired for the offices, hallways, and conference rooms that collectively show two things: the personal advice and expertise given most notably by gallery owner Hans Mayer and his former colleague Hete Hünermann, and also – to an increasing extent in recent years – independent discoveries made by Dr. Wolfgang Kühn in the galleries of Berlin or while attending tours of the Düsseldorf Academy of Art.
On the whole, between two poles consisting of abstraction on one end and figurative art on the other end, the collection reveals an enthusiasm for color, graphic compositions, and a directness accompanying both aspects. The works appear jovial and vibrant, and they appeal primarily to the main organ for receiving any work of art – the eye!
