Art and Law Firm – Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek presents its art collection on the website
Sometimes, to counterbalance the demands of legal work, impulses are needed to stimulate creativity and the senses. In its offices, corridors, and meeting rooms, the law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek displays numerous works of art that have been collected since the firm was founded by Dr. Hans Günter Heuking and Dr. Wolfgang Kühn in 1971.
Starting from October, anyone who is unable to visit the law firm can now access the works and view the art collection on our website www.heuking.de/en/about-us/art-collection.html.
The presentation of the selected works of art follows the collection catalogue that was published on the occasion of the firm's 45th anniversary and the birthday of Dr. Kühn in a new edition at the end of 2016.
The works are assigned to the five chapters of the book: American Art, ZERO, Geometrical Abstraction, Figurative Art, and Solitaires. Each section contains selected works of art and explanatory texts allowing website visitors to take a closer look at the artists and their works. Between the two poles of abstraction and figurative art, the art collection exhibits enthusiasm for color and graphic compositions that appeals to the eye of the beholder with its immediacy.
The foundation stone for the collection of selected works of modern art had been laid by the law firm's founders Dr. Hans Günter Heuking and Dr. Wolfgang Kühn, who started collecting art when the firm was founded. The result is an extensive collection of works by renowned artists that continues to grow steadily. The highlights of the collection include masters such as Mack, Immendorf, Lüpertz, Warhol, and Richter.
