Heuking advises Greater Munich Real Estate Fund (GMREF) on commercial property acquisition from Herecon Projekt GmbH

A team led by Dr. Frank Metz, Partner at Heuking’s Munich office, advised Greater Munich Real Estate Fund (GMREF) on the acquisition of a commercial property from Herecon Projekt GmbH.

Greater Munich Real Estate Fund (GMREF), an open-ended real estate special fund launched by its investment manager ehret+klein Capital Markets GmbH, acquired a commercial property in an attractive location in Germering near Munich from HERECON Projekt GmbH. The fund thus continues to diversify and expand its existing portfolio.

The commercial property with some 3,400 square meters of rental space is partially leased. About 1,300 square meters of the total area is retail space, which is currently leased to REWE. The fund now aims to leverage building reserves and modernize the rental space to achieve an attractive mix of retail, office, and residential uses.
