Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises on Incity Immobilien AG's majority holding
InCity Immobilien AG, specializing in conceptual development and implementation of top quality real estate in downtown locations, has taken out a majority holding in listed real estate company informica real invest AG jointly with a private financial investor. 66 percent in informica were acquired from the previous principal stockholder, Absolute European Catalyst Fund
informica real invest AG specializes in acquiring profitable promising residential and commercial real estate, real estate brokerage and property management and administration.
The company manages a real estate portfolio of 30 properties with 683 residential and commercial units in downtown locations and centrally located marketable areas in various German cities. Featuring a total net floor area of 58,273 square meters, the investment volume of the portfolio amounted to about EUR 54 million in 2008. informica real invest AG's revenue was EUR 60.2 million in 2008.
By means of the majority holding, InCity intends to further expand the existing cooperation with informica.
