Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek expands its Expertise in the PPP/PFI and IT Field
On 1 November 2005, Dr. Martin Schellenberg joins the PPP team of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. Schellenberg is a partner at Luther Menold and, together with associate Kai Wischnat, transfers to the Hamburg office of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. Dr. Schellenberg has been consulting for many years on tendering and contract law for complex public tendering, privatization and IT projects. His clients have included several federal and state ministries as well as public and private companies. Most recently, Schellenberg represented the German army with acquiring satellites. Schellenberg is also an instructor at the University of Hamburg and chair of the National PPP Association. By bringing in Dr. Schellenberg, the Hamburg office continues its strategy of strengthening important legal and economic areas of emphasis. "Strengthening the PPP/PFI and IT fields reflects the growing economic importance of these legal fields to our clientele and, therefore, also to our firm," commented Dr. Ralf Wojtek, the partner at the Hamburg office, on Schellenberg’s move. Just last year, the Hamburg office already gained in strength with three lateral entrants. Currently, 32 attorneys work there.
