Advising Dr. Dieter Murmann Beteiligungs GmbH on its acquisition of ERICHSEN Group

Dr. Dieter Murmann Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, Kiel, has acquired all shares in the German engineering-group led by ERICHSEN Beteiligungs GmbH, Hemer, with its subsidiaries in Germany and France.

Funds managed by BPE Unternehmensbeteiligungen G.m.b.H., Hamburg, have divested their shares in ERICHSEN Group which BPE acquired in 2007 together with the management. The management will continue to remain with ERICHSEN.

ERICHSEN is specialized in the development, design and production of high end measuring and testing machines and equipment. In the course of over 100 years ERICHSEN has become a pioneer and the world’s leading manufacturer in the fields of Sheet Metal Testing, Surface Testing, Corrosion Testing and Materials Testing. ERICHSEN is a globally operating company with a production site in Hemer, North Rhine-Westfalia, and possesses a sales organisation comprising of 80 locations all over the world.
