All alleys brightly lit: Street lighting in Pinneberg newly awarded with Heuking

In a Europe-wide competition, the City of Pinneberg awarded a new contract for its street lighting. The invitation to bid affected about 1,800 street lights with some 4,400 light point units on 220 kilometers of roads and paths. The new contractor will successively convert all 4,400 light points to LED light sources for a total of several million euros, thus making street lighting in Pinneberg more effective and environmentally friendly. Following the competition, the contract had been awarded to SPIE SAG GmbH.

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek designed the EU award procedure, drafted the service description and the contract, and brought the procedure to a successful conclusion over several rounds of negotiations.
