Heuking advises shareholders of digital agency wyn on merger with agency group Generaxion

A team led by Dr Peter Christian Schmidt legally advised the managing shareholders of wyn digital GmbH, Cati Klintworth and Jan Schulte, comprehensively on the sale to Scandinavian agency group Generaxion. Jointly, wyn and Generaxion aim to become Europe’s strongest digital agency group for SMEs.

The merger with Generaxion group will allow wyn to further expand its extensive service portfolio and will offer the agency new opportunities in terms of languages and territories. Generaxion is also looking forward to the advantages that the collaboration with wyn will entail, such as access to the German-speaking region and the use of wyn’s innovative concepts including liquid workforce and work from home.

wyn digital GmbH, with headquarters in Hamburg and a branch office in Kiel, focuses on helping medium-sized companies to generate successful online marketing and digital strategies and to support them in overcoming the challenges of digitalization. Since its establishment in 2010, the agency has achieved a strong position in digital performance marketing and in designing and developing digital platforms. Today, the company employs about 65 people.

Founded in 2008 by CEO Allan Damborg, Generaxion has managed to merge 14 agencies and digital companies from Sweden, Denmark, and Finland with a total of over 400 employees. Generaxion is owned by its employees and by PE firm Adelis Equity Partners.
