Financial investor is acquiring the Hamburg ship outfitter Noske-Kaeser GmbH with the assistance of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek
Titan Hunter European Investments Ltd. (today Noske Kaeser Group Ltd.) purchased Noske-Kaeser, a Hamburg ship outfitter, from Blohm + Voss Industries, a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Group.
The investment companies Titan 1 and Hunter Capital each own 50% of the investor. "We are turning this company onto an expansion course. We expect the impending reorganization to create new jobs in Hamburg," commented David Poirier, directing manager of Titan Hunter European Investments, the acquisition.
Noske-Kaeser equips ships, vehicles and industrial plants with refrigeration, fire protecting, heating and pipework technology and is worldwide the leading supplier in this area. The company with its headquarters in Hamburg has subsidiaries in New Zeeland and Argentina and with 340 employees generated total sales of 53 million Euro in 2004/2005
Dr. Stefan Duhnkrack was in charge of advising Titan Hunter European Investments in the area of corporate law/mergers and acquisitions and coordinated the transaction. He was supported by Gundel Winterhoff in corporate law. Dr. Stefan Bretthauer (distribution, anti-trust law), Dr. Michael Dröge (real estate law), Kay Jacobsen (labor law), and Dr. Søren Pietzcker (IP) completed the team.
