German Foundation for Commitment and Volunteering

The German Foundation for Engagement and Volunteering (Deutsche Stiftung für Engagement und Ehrenamt/DSEE) took up its activities in Neustrelitz in July 2020. The Foundation is the first nationwide contact point for the promotion of volunteering.

Some 30 million people are volunteering in Germany. It is the objective of DSEE to establish and maintain structures for volunteering activities, particularly in structurally weak and rural regions, so as to strengthen volunteering in the long term in coordination with existing federal programs. It is the first central contact point that supports volunteers nationwide.

Our Services

We comprehensively advise DSEE in particular on all issues relating to public procurement law, budgetary law, and civil law. We are drafting all bidding documents and contracts for DSEE and assist the Foundation on all procedural issues.
