Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises Südwestpfalz district

Led by Dr. Stephan Witteler, Partner, Markus Lennartz, Salaried Partner, Christine Grau, and Christian Miercke, all at the Frankfurt office, business law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised the district of Südwestpfalz on promoting broadband expansion as part of a profitability gap model. The law firm advised the district also on designing the invitations for bids for cooperation agreements in compliance with state aid law and procurement law. The team led by Dr. Witteler further advises the district on all issues pertaining to municipal business law arising in connection with the conception of the district’s specific broadband expansion project.

The district of Südwestpfalz is located in the southern part of Rhineland-Palatinate and has about 97,180 residents. The district covers an area of 954 square kilometers and is divided into 7 associated and 84 local communities. Administrative headquarters are located in Pirmasens.
