Underground Gas Storage Facility

We advised energy provider EDF S.A. in the project planning and implementation of an underground gas storage facility in the Northern part of Germany from the beginning of the project in civil and public law.

In this way, we legally implemented the safeguarding of the site, for example in cavern use contracts and contracts for the securing of areas, structured the project from a corporate law point of view and we are also supporting it from the point of view of public law, including questions of mining law and regulatory law. In addition, we provide advice on the underground gas storage project of Dutch Essent group in Epe near the Dutch border.
