In a Europe-wide open procedure, Versorgungsanstalt des Bundes und der Länder (VBL) re-awarded facility management services for a portion of its nationwide real estate portfolio.

The bid invitation had become necessary following the extraordinary termination of the previous facility manager. The procedure was implemented with speed and efficiency, thus assuring an uninterrupted provision of services.

The contract was awarded without complaint and without review procedure.

Dr. Daniela Hattenhauer and Kirstin van de Sande were responsible for the entire legal support of the award procedure, in particular for its formal supervision, for optimizing the services agreement and for legally evaluating the bids.
