Würzburg University Clinic - delivery services

Würzburg University Clinic awarded the cleaning, hospital bed sheet changing, food, lab and pickup and delivery services as well as additional secondary services for the entire complex of Würzburg University Clinic for the next 5 years in the amount of EUR 30 million to a service provider, which Würzburg University Clinic runs together with Dorfner KG, a private partner. Dorfner KG will provide its entire management and expertise to the service provider allowing it to continue to provide first-class quality at economical prices.

For this purpose, a Europe-wide negotiated procedure was carried out in which renowned facility management service providers took part and which, after having held several negotiation rounds and a preferred bidder decision, ended by Dorfner KG being awarded the contract without the filing of any appeals or any anti-trust objections. Dorfner KG is Bavaria's leading facility management provider and will support Würzburg University Clinic in the facility management area, in particular with respect to its numerous scheduled construction restructuring projects.
