Ulrich Weidemann is an equity partner in HEUKING's Frankfurt office. He specialises in national and cross-border M&A transactions, including carve-out transactions. He also advises investors in the area of venture capital, as well as comprehensively on corporate law issues (including foundation law). He also advises on capital market transactions (IPOs, capital increases, bonds) and capital market law issues (MAR, WpHG, stock exchange law). His industry focus is on aviation, transport and logistics, as well as defence.
Ulrich Weidemann was admitted to the bar in 2004. Previously, he worked for nine years at Freshfields in Frankfurt and New York, four years at Shearman & Sterling in Frankfurt and six years at Baker McKenzie in Frankfurt. He is a banker and was a lecturer at the East German Savings Banks Academy in Potsdam from 1998 to 2004.
