Advising market-leading electrical engineering service group: Restructuring liabilities in the balance sheet

With a Frankfurt-based team led by Thomas K. Schrell, Partner, business law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised a market-leading electrical engineering group on its extensive restructuring of bank liabilities and guarantee facilities. 

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek comprehensively supported the group in designing, documenting, and negotiating the restructuring of liabilities in the consolidated balance sheet.  Scope, financing architecture, and terms of existing financing, which will continue to be provided in the upper two-digit million range by a syndicate of lenders led by LBBW, were adapted to a changed business model and third-party guarantee lenders were involved. The parties agreed not to disclose the amount of the financing volume.
