Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Adds Attorney in the Areas of Litigation, Arbitration and M&A

As of September 1, Dr. Elke Umbeck (36) will join the Hamburg office of law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek as a new partner. Dr. Umbeck's focus of activities will be in arbitration, litigation and corporation law. The attorney who speaks four languages (German, English, French and Italian) has been working at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in the fields of dispute resolution and corporate law in Berlin and Hamburg. In the last few years, she made a name for herself in Hamburg as Principal Associate in the area of Corporate Litigation as accomplished trial attorney. Her areas of expertise include decision fault disputes and legal disputes between partners, primarily cases of manager liability. "The area of Corporate Litigation becomes ever more important for companies and I am glad to be able to strengthen this area at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek". Dr. Elke Umbeck is also known in the arbitration field where she represents companies primarily in post-M&A legal disputes.
