Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Düsseldorf office is expanding with Bodo Dehne as Salaried Partner
Bodo Dehne (38) joined the law firm’s Düsseldorf office effective January 1, 2017. As a Salaried Partner, he will support the Corporate/M&A and Private Clients practice groups of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. Dehne will work in the department led by Partner Dirk Kolvenbach.
Dehne joins the firm from Noerr, where he practiced law as a Senior Associate in Corporate/M&A and in the Real Estate Investment Group since 2011. He also worked at the firm's China Desk. Prior to joining Noerr, he had been working at Shearman & Sterling in Düsseldorf.
He specializes in advising German and foreign clients on national and cross-border transactions, real estate transactions, and on matters pertaining to corporate law.
With the focus of his work on corporate law and real estate transactions, Dehne is an excellent fit with the Düsseldorf practice. His extensive expertise and good contacts to the business world also make him ideally suited to advise private clients and family offices. The Cologne-born lawyer benefits from his international orientation: In addition to English and Dutch, Bodo Dehne speaks fluent Chinese. Due to his participation in the one-year Chinese Economic Law Program in China and his emphasis on China-focused work in Germany for many years, he has numerous contacts to Chinese companies. He will therefore also be a valuable support for the law firm’s China Desk led by Dr. Kai Bandilla.
Including Bodo Dehne, 46 Equity Partners and 16 Salaried Partners are currently based in Düsseldorf. In total, 105 lawyers are working out of the law firm’s Düsseldorf office.
