Heuking with only slight revenue decline in corona year
Business law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek recorded revenue of EUR 189.9 million in fiscal 2020, just EUR 4.8 million below last year’s high level. With 2019 revenue amounting to EUR 194.7 million, the decline is therefore 2.5 percent.
“Considering an extraordinarily challenging year, the revenue decline of only a few percentage points – particularly coming from a very high level – is a sound result. In addition, we have managed to reduce costs and are enjoying a stable earnings situation. The fact that we have weathered the crisis well is due in part to our firm’s full-service approach. We are confident that we will master the difficult year 2021 in the same way and will expand further,” said Dr. Andreas Urban, Managing Partner of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek.
The law firm also continues to be attractive for lateral hires: In January 2021, an employment law team led by Dr. Utz Andelewski joined Heuking’s Berlin office from Dentons. Ariane Neubauer and Gesine Dechow reinforced the Corporate and Venture Capital practice and the Notary’s Office, also in Berlin. In addition, Kristina Schneider and Dr. Oliver Treptow, two peers from our own ranks, were appointed partners on January 1.
