Revenue growth: HEUKING revenue surpasses EUR 200 million mark

In fiscal 2023, HEUKING generated revenue of EUR 205.1 million, marking an increase of EUR 12.7 million or 6.6% over the year prior. In 2022, revenue amounted to EUR 192.4 million.

Revenue per professional, the firm’s profitability metric, also continued to improve in 2023. With a team of 389.6 lawyers (FTEs), it increased to EUR 526,400, up EUR 23,500 or 4.7% year-on-year.

“Our diverse client base and the even distribution of assignments across various legal domains contributed to the welcome increase in revenue, but also in profitability,” said Dr. Andreas Urban, Managing Partner at HEUKING. “Our full-service approach, combined with very high revenue, particularly in established fields of law such as Litigation/Arbitration, M&A and Corporate, Public Sector & Public Procurement, as well as Private Clients, were key contributors to our success over the past year. Additionally, we expanded into new service fields - such as our advice on ESG or Foreign Trade Law.”

The law firm continued to expand in the 2023 reporting year: At the onset of 2023, HEUKING promoted nine equity partners to partnership from within the firm. At the beginning of 2024, four HEUKING salaried partners successfully transitioned to equity partnership.
