Well connected: Real estate speed dating at Düsseldorf's Rhine Tower

800 – that’s the number of business cards that changed hands during the fourth Real Estate Speed Dating event on August 30, 2018. About 40 real estate experts discussed new trends and developments in the industry at Rhine Tower‘s Bar & Lounge M 168 high above the rooftops of Düsseldorf. The topics focused on the current real estate investment market and digitization in real estate.

“This has now been the fourth Real Estate Speed Dating event, and participants are still enthusiastic about its concept,” said Dr. Peter Vocke, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek and event organizer. “The fact that attendees, divided into two groups, change places every five minutes, allows them to meet many new people in a short period. The event is also used, however, to refresh acquaintances from the industry.”

Thomas Ceppok, Academy Director of ADI Akademie der Immobilienwirtschaft GmbH, added: “What is exciting about the event is that the discussions initiated in the speed dating rounds can be continued and reinforced in the subsequent get-together. This is one of the ways how numerous new projects have been started in the past.”

This year’s Real Estate Speed Dating was organized by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek jointly with ADI Akademie der Immobilienwirtschaft.
