Advising HSV Fußball AG on settlement agreement with former coach Mirko Slomka
The labor law disputes with the coach and assistant coach of the Bundesliga team of Hamburger Sport-Verein (HSV), who were dismissed in September 2014, have been settled. Mirko Slomka and Nestor El Maestro settled with their former employer out of court. In case of HSV's fitness coach, Nikola Vidovic, who was also dismissed, the parties aim to achieve a settlement agreement as well.
The settlement agreement was entered into as part of conciliation proceedings before the arbitral tribunal of the German Soccer Federation (DFB). HSV was advised by the Hamburg-based partner of the commercial law firm of Heuking Lüer Wojtek, Dr. Andreas Walle, and salaried partner Dr. Johan-Michel Menke, LL.M. The contents of the settlement agreement were not disclosed.
HSV has repeatedly retained Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek for its expert knowledge.
