HEUKING advises DATAGROUP on acquisition of ISC Innovative Systems Consulting AG

A HEUKING team led by Dr. Rainer Herschlein and Benedikt Raisch legally advised DATAGROUP SE on its acquisition of ISC Innovative Systems Consulting AG. DATAGROUP thus enhances its SAP expertise and significantly strengthens its presence in southern Germany.

ISC represents DATAGROUP SE’s 34^th acquisition since its IPO in 2006, marking its third such transaction in current fiscal year 2023/2024, following the acquisitions of conplus and iT TOTAL.

Established in 1998, ISC most recently reported revenues of about EUR 12.5 million with a low double-digit EBIT margin. Employing around 50 staff across its Rosenheim and Montabaur sites, ISC delivers SAP-focused consulting and IT services to mid-sized businesses. The company excels in S/4 HANA transformations, SAP implementation, value-added reselling of SAP licenses, and developing bespoke cloud-based SAP solutions.

DATAGROUP is a leading German IT service provider. Some 3,500 employees work across Germany to design, build, and operate IT infrastructures and commercial systems such as SAP. DATAGROUP is a full-service provider with its CORBOX solution, supporting medium-sized and large companies, as well as public clients and their IT workspaces globally. DATAGROUP actively engages in the IT service market consolidation process through its “buy and turn around” and “buy and build” strategies.
