Heuking advises Dr. Peters Group on acquisition of DPD’s German headquarters

A Hamburg-based Heuking team led by Julia Cramer and Dr. Sönke Görgens legally supported and advised Dortmund-based Dr. Peters Group on its acquisition of DPD’s German headquarters in Aschaffenburg.

The client acquired a newly renovated and fully leased office building in the booming Rhine-Main region. To improve energy efficiency, recent updates included the retrofitting of the heating and cooling system based on heat pump technology.

The office building, built in 1992 and expanded in 1998, is situated in Aschaffenburg’s established Nilkheim-West industrial estate and serves as the German headquarters of parcel and express service provider DPD. The logistics service company is a member of Le Groupe La Poste, a French state-owned corporation.

Dr. Peters Group is an owner-managed independent group of companies owned by the Salamon family.
