HEUKING advises on project development in Hamburg-Bergedorf

A team led by Dr. Peter Zimmermann, Partner at HEUKING's Düsseldorf office, has legally advised a major Swiss real estate investor comprehensively on the partial transfer of a large-scale project development. The development comprises 710 apartments, a neighborhood shopping center, and a kindergarten. The transferred portion specifically includes areas designated for publicly subsidized housing, which were acquired by a project partner specializing in this sector.

The HEUKING team had previously advised two property companies of the investor in 2022 on the acquisition of land for this development in Hamburg-Bergedorf, purchased from Hamburg-based project developer Hans-Werner Maas (click here for the 2022 press release).
