Heuking advises on Sale of Romanian ProIT Srl

A team led by Munich partner Dr. Mathias Schröder of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek provided comprehensive advice to Kartmann GmbH and the Kartmann family on the sale of Romanian subsidiary ProIT Srl to in-tech GmbH.

The previous majority owner of ProIT Srl, Kartmann GmbH, and thus also the managing director Roland Kartmann, will continue to hold an interest in in-tech Group via a reverse shareholding. The existing management of ProIT will be expanded in order to facilitate the integration of the company into the in-tech Group.

ProIT Srl, based in Romania, is a company with many years of experience in the development of software solutions for the automotive industry.

in-tech GmbH is shaping digitalization in the automotive, rail and industrial sectors. The company develops solutions for the automotive, eMobility, transport systems and smart industry sectors. The developers and engineers at in-tech work, for example, on topics such as autonomous driving, electromobility, digital rail or smart industrial production. The company was founded in 2002 and has been consistently growing ever since. in-tech currently employs around 2100 people at locations in Germany, Austria, USA, China, UK, Czech Republic, Mexico, Spain and Romania.
