HEUKING advises Stöferle shareholders on sale of majority stake in Endurance Overseas
A cross-office HEUKING team, led by Stuttgart-based Partner Dr. Rainer Herschlein and Senior Associate Dr. Emanuel Teichmann, legally advised Stöferle shareholders on the complex, cross-border sale of a 60% majority stake in Stöferle GmbH and Stöferle Automotive GmbH to Endurance Overseas s.r.l. The transaction remains subject to approval by various antitrust authorities before becoming effective. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Stöferle GmbH and Stöferle Automotive GmbH specialize in delivering tailored solutions for the efficient, high-speed production of medium to large series in light metal processing. Operating on a 16,000-square-meter site with over 200 employees, the companies adhere to the highest technical standards. Acting both as system suppliers and specialized subcontractors, they play a key role in further processing within the automotive industry. Endurance Overseas s.r.l. is the Italian subsidiary of a globally operating, India-based manufacturer of automotive components. The group specializes in the production and sale of die-cast aluminum components (including alloy wheels), suspension systems, transmissions, and braking products. With operations spanning India and Europe (Italy and Germany), the company provides end-to-end solutions, engaging customers throughout the entire process from conception to final delivery. Serving both OEMs and the aftermarket, the company operates over 30 manufacturing facilities internationally.
