HEUKING advises VR Equitypartner on investment in Hero Textil AG

A HEUKING team led by Partners Dr. Rainer Herschlein and Benedikt Raisch, both from the Stuttgart office, advised VR Equitypartner GmbH on legal and tax matters relating to the acquisition of a stake in Hero Textil AG.

Frankfurt-based investment firm VR Equitypartner (“VREP”) is acquiring a significant minority stake in Hero Textil AG (“Hero Textil”), a manufacturer of elastic textile inserts.

Hero Textil AG, headquartered in Crailsheim, specializes in developing and producing elastic textile inserts, leveraging extensive manufacturing and technological expertise.

The company includes subsidiaries KreativControl in Crailsheim, as well as Hero Care S.R.O and Hero Textil S.R.O in the Czech Republic.

VR Equitypartner is a leading equity investor in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. With decades of experience, the company supports medium-sized family businesses in strategically solving complex financing issues. VR Equitypartner offers both majority and minority shareholdings, as well as mezzanine financing. Its portfolio currently comprises some 40 commitments with an investment volume of about EUR 400 million.
