HEUKING advises w3.fund Management on the launch of a Liquid Token Fund

A team led by Dr. Christoph Gringel from Frankfurt advised w3.fund Management GmbH on the structuring and launch of its first open-ended fund w3.wave, which enables investments in liquid crypto assets. HEUKING is thus expanding its track record in advising open-ended funds that invest in crypto assets.

The fund is structured as a sub-corporate asset of an investment stock corporation with variable capital. The investment stock corporation offers registered capital management companies a regulatory-efficient way to set up open-ended funds that invest in liquid assets. The tax structuring of the fund was carried out by Flick Gocke Schaumburg and was secured by binding information from the Berlin tax office.

w3.fund Management GmbH is part of the w3.group and is a capital management company registered in accordance with Section 2 (4) KAGB that manages several funds with an investment focus on crypto assets. The w3.group also includes w3.vision and the w3.hub, "Berlin's Home of Web3".
