HEUKING advises CVC Capital Partners on exit from DKV Mobility Group SE
A team led by HEUKING Partner Dr. Oliver von Rosenberg, LL.M., comprehensively advised CVC Capital Partners Fund VII on the resale of its 20% minority stake in DKV Mobility Group SE to the owner family, marking the end of a five-year partnership. The advice included matters related to stock corporation law, transaction financing, as well as regulatory aspects regarding banking supervision and merger control.
DKV Mobility is a leading B2B platform for on-the-road payments and solutions, serving over 374,000 truck and fleet customers in more than 50 countries. In 2023, the company generated a transaction volume of €17 billion and revenue of €714 million.

Notable projects include the investment in DKV Mobility Group, the acquisition of Douglas from Advent, the sale of ista group to Charterhouse for EUR 2.4 billion, the acquisition of a stake in Evonik Industries for EUR 2.4 billion followed by its IPO with joint venture partner RAG Foundation, and the acquisition of Ruhrgas Industries/Elster Group for EUR 1.5 billion, which was later sold through a public takeover offer.
