HEUKING advises DCP Data Center Partners GmbH on its merger with DC-Datacenter-Group GmbH

A team led by HEUKING Partner Markus Lennartz provided legal advice to the shareholder of DCP Data Center Partners GmbH (DCP) on the sale of a majority interest in the company to MVV Enamic GmbH (MVV), a group company of MVV Energie AG. MVV is a shareholder of DC-Data-Center-Group GmbH (DCG). As a result of the transaction, DCP will become an affiliate of DCG and will contribute the important area of project development to DCG's portfolio.

DCG is a leading provider of development, planning, construction and operation services for highly available and sustainable data centers in Germany. The company has around 250 employees at several locations. The head office is located in Westerwald, near the important DE-CIX Frankfurt and DE-CIX Düsseldorf internet exchanges. Further offices are located in Berlin, Frankfurt am Main, Munich and Cologne. MVV and DCG are part of the MVV Energie AG Group.

DCP Data Center Partners GmbH, founded in 2021 and based in Munich, is an investment boutique specializing in colocation and hyperscale data centers. The company's services cover all phases of the data center life cycle, from development to operation, and currently manages data center assets worth 660 million euros. With around 25 employees, DCP offers comprehensive services that include planning, construction, leasing, operation and security.
