Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Advises International Brand Licensing Plc. on Reverse Takeover of EKF-diagnostic Group

Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek provided counsel to listed British International Brand Licensing Plc. on the reverse takeover of EKF-diagnostic group.

With the acquisition, International Brand Licensing Plc. pursues the strategic reorientation of the establishment of a diagnostic corporate group announced in November 2009.

The acquired EKF-diagnostic group with companies in Germany, Russia and Poland is one of the leading diagnostic companies in Germany. It distributes its products in more than 65 countries. Its business is focused on the development and production of analyzers for the testing of lactate, glucose, hemoglobin and hematocrit.

The acquisition of EKF-diagnostic group by means of reverse takeover involved several jurisdictions and required close collaboration with partner firms from England, Russia and Poland. The acquisition was structured by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek.
