Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek Represents Majority Shareholders in Sale of Wulff Group to TIG Group
Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek provided counsel to the majority shareholders in the Wulff group, headquartered at Husum, on their sale to Hamburg-based TIG Group. The transfer took place at the beginning of July 2010.
The core business of Wulff Deutschland GmbH which is a member of the Wulff group and of UMAG Technologie GmbH deals with the supply of customer-specific plants for the generation of energy (steam, heat and electricity) on the basis of various primary energies (fossil fuels, biomass and surrogate fuels).
TIG Group is active in the fields of automation, environmental engineering, water and ultra pure water treatment and engineering and provides a comprehensive range of services.
The merger creates a new group with manufacturing plants exclusively in Germany. In the future, it will employ a staff of more than 300, including about 180 engineers.
