India Business Law Journal: Dr. Martin Imhof in the International A-List of India specialists
For the third time in a row, India Business Law Journal has identified Dr. Martin Imhof, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, as a specialist in India-related transactions and business and recognized him in the 2021 A-List. The exclusive A-List, consisting of 100 international lawyers based outside India, is the result of an extensive independent research conducted by the Indian law magazine.
“India Business Law Journal’s renewed recognition reflects how well we collaborate with our domestic and international peers, and we are delighted to see that our advice is rated so positively. For years, we have been supporting our clients in their activities in the Indo-German market, including in challenging times such as the current pandemic. Our India Desk intends to continue along this path with our clients and to find solutions for any issues they may encounter,” said Dr. Martin Imhof.
The 2021/22 Indian budget that was presented on February 1, 2021 could form a sound basis for this endeavor. It aims to achieve sustainable growth in the Indian economy, such as by investing in infrastructure development. The government additionally decided to facilitate foreign direct investment (FDI), for example, in the insurance sector.
The A-List has been published as a special issue in the March issue of India Business Law Journal and in its digital edition at IBLJ.vantageasia.com.
To identify the top 100 international India experts, India Business Law Journal turned to hundreds of lawyers at Indian law firms, as well as thousands of India-focused and international in-house counsel and asked them for nominations. The final A-List reflects the nominations received, combined with India Business Law Journal editorial team’s more than 30 years’ collective experience in analyzing the Indian legal market.
