Insurance Law Expert Palmberger joins Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek

Herbert Palmberger, one of the highest renowned insurance lawyers in Germany, will join as Equity Partner on 1st July 2008 the firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. His move wil be accompanied by three of his present colleagues, Manfred Oesinghaus, Christoph Arendt and Dr. Tobias Plath. "We are pleased to have in the future with Dr. Palmberger a true heavyweight in insurance law. We expect much from the new team", says Dr. Wolfgang Kühn, Name Partner of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek. Before his move, Palmberger was with DLA Piper in Cologne.

Palmberger and his team are specialised in the advice and representation of insurance, reinsurance and industrial companies as well as of government agencies in respect of all legal issues related to insurance and reinsurance. Also, he is acting frequently as an arbitrator in international matters. In M&A transactions and insurance portfolio transfers he advises in Buyers’ and Sellers’ Due Diligence and in respect of the insurance and regulatory part of the transactional contracts.

The seat of Dr. Palmberger and his team will be the Düsseldorf office of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek.
