Kapital 1852 acquires hospitality furniture supplier MAY – funding provided by NORD/LB
With a Frankfurt-based team led by partner Thomas K. Schrell, business law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advised NORD/LB Norddeutsche Landesbank - Girozentrale on funding the acquisition of a majority stake in H. May GmbH & Co. KG by Kapital 1852 SCS SICAV SIF Equity Invest IV “MidCapPlus,” a fund managed by investment company Kapital 1852 Beratungs GmbH.
Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek comprehensively advised NORD/LB on drafting, structuring, negotiating, and implementing the entire financing documentation. The credit lines have terms of six and seven years. In addition to the acquisition, the funding is also aimed at the repayment of existing liabilities and the financing of the group’s general working capital requirements.
MAY is a leading supplier of hospitality furniture with sites in Lehrte and Hamburg. Its product range consists of indoor and outdoor furniture for restaurants and hotels, offices, and companies in the healthcare sector.
