Photonics Systems Holding GmbH acquires EPP Electronic Production Partners
Stuttgart-based Partner Dr. Hermann Ali Hinderer advised Photonics Systems Holding GmbH with a team on the acquisition of EPP Electronic Production Partners GmbH. The acquisition strengthens Photonics Systems Group’s activities in the electronics sector and creates the conditions for continued growth. The closing of the transaction is scheduled for the end of November 2019.
A supplier in the electronics sector, EPP is headquartered in Gräfelfing. Established in 1987, the company is valued as a reliable and innovative partner by customers. EPP is primarily operating in the sales and service of laser trimmers, drying ovens, and optical inspection systems, generating added value by means of customer-specific adaptations, automation, and software upgrades.
Photonics Systems Group is a member of the portfolio of companies managed by CGS Management AG. The group is a leader in laser micromaterial processing and develops and produces customer-specific machinery and process solutions for high-precision laser applications in the photovoltaic, electronics, and semiconductor sectors as well as in precision mechanics. The group employs more than 100 people worldwide and supplies customers in Europe, the U.S. and Asia.
Dr. Hermann Ali Hinderer and his team have worked on behalf of Photonics Systems Holding GmbH on several occasions, including the acquisition of LS Laser Systems GmbH at the beginning of the year.
