Ring International Holding acquires BOA Balg- und Kompensatoren-Technologie assisted by Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek
A team led by Dr. Georg Streit, Partner at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Munich office, advised Ring International Holding AG on the acquisition of automotive supplier BOA Balg- und Kompensatoren-Technologie from its German insolvency administrator. Lead counsel on the transaction, carried out by transferring assets as well as shares in subsidiaries, was Austrian law firm Brandl & Talos Rechtsanwälte GmbH.
Ring International Holding AG is headquartered in Vienna. For 20 years, the Austrian investment firm has specialized in acquiring companies and strongly promoting their development.
BOA Group is a manufacturer of flexible mechanical elements for the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors based in Stutensee near Karlsruhe. The group comprises 15 subsidiaries and participations in 13 countries, generating annual sales of about EUR 180 million. The acquisition comprised the German manufacturing plant and the headquarters of BOA Group as well as its international subsidiaries.
