Heuking adds attorney in White Collar Crime Practice Group

Since November 1, Dr. André-M. Szesny, specializing in white collar criminal law, has strengthened the criminal law practice group, led by Dr. Dieter Bohnert, of the Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek law firm. "I particularly look forward to being able to draw from the expertise of outstanding colleagues from the reference fields in civil law and public law at Heuking", Szesny says. The 33-year-old attorney had previously been working at Wessing II Verjans for more than three and a half years and, following the breakup of the criminal law boutique office, at the VBB law firm. Szesny, who will start his employment at Heuking as an Associate, primarily provides legal advice to companies in the fight against corruption. He is also more and more involved in capital market criminal law.

"In preventive legal advice in criminal law as in acting as counsel for the defense, the integration between criminal law and other fields, such as tax law or corporate law, keeps getting ever more important. Heuking allows me to explore these integration possibilities", Szesny explains his move to the new firm.
