Dr. Günther M. Bredow joins Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Frankfurt Office
After twelve years at Beiten Burkhardt, Dr. Günther M. Bredow (48) will join Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek within the next months. Dr. Bredow will work as Partner at the law firm's Frankfurt office and will reinforce the areas of Corporate Finance/M&A, Private Equity, Banking and Capital Market Law. Dr. Bredow is also scheduled to assume a leading role in the further setup and development of the Frankfurt office and particularly promote the expansion of the Banking and Finance Practice Groups.
Dr. Bredow possesses many years of experience in the field of transaction counseling of both banks and of large and midcap enterprises, including public takeovers and take-privates. He handled a transaction volume of considerably more than EUR 25 billion in the last few years. Dr. Bredow's team has established a market-leading position in the German market, particularly in the areas of loan trading/portfolio transactions with transaction volumes far in excess of EUR 12 billion. In addition, he has advised private equity and real estate companies on legal and tax matters regarding acquisitions, restructuring and executive management board and supervisory board topics for many years.
Dr. Bredow focuses mainly on the banking industry and financial service providers as well as cleantech/renewables, primarily offshore wind. His clients from various different industries include several large German and foreign banks, which Dr. Bredow has advised for a number of years.
