Partner joining Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek again: Düsseldorf office strengthened with Dr. Michael Sörgel in the Corporate field

Already the third partner is joining this year: As at March 1, 2014, Dr. Michael Sörgel will join Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek's Düsseldorf office as equity partner.

Michael Sörgel (43) comes from DLA Piper in Cologne and advises public and private companies on mergers and takeovers as well as on joint venture projects and restructuring matters. He advised numerous national and international clients on corporate acquisitions and sales, frequently in the context of complex, cross-border transactions. In addition, Sörgel has extensive experience in the fields of corporate governance and compliance.

Since 2009, Michael Sörgel had worked as Counsel at DLA Piper and headed a department focusing on Corporate/M&A. From 2006 to 2009, he worked at Weil Gotshal Manges in Munich. He also started his professional career in Düsseldorf, where he worked at Simmons & Simmons from 2000 to 2005. Michael Sörgel will join the team around Managing Partner Dr. Andreas Urban.
