Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek advises Management and HANNOVER Finanz on sale of Runners Point to Foot Locker
Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, Hamburg, advised Messrs. Otto Hurler and Harald Wittig as well as HANNOVER Finanz on the sale of their holdings in Runners Point Warenhandels GmbH to publicly traded U.S.-based Foot Locker, Inc.
In the process, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek primarily acted on behalf of the general managers involved, Hurler and Wittig, in partial fields, for example regarding contract documentation and the merger control procedure, also on behalf of HANNOVER Finanz.
HANNOVER Finanz Group previously held 75 percent of the shares, the management held 25 percent. On May 8, 2013, the previous shareholders entered into an appropriate agreement with the new strategic partner on the assumption of all shares. Subject to the approval by the Federal Cartel Office, Foot Locker will assume the company in full.
