Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek expands management
The law firm of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek elected a new management board at its general partners’ meeting on November 17. In addition to various committees, an election for the management team is also held every three years.
The current management board, which has been leading the firm for six years now, and in a slightly changed constellation for nine years, has been expanded by two partners.
Dr. Andreas Urban and Dr. Hans Gummert will commence their fourth terms of office. Dr. Andreas Urban has been responsible for Strategic Development, Communications, and Marketing since 2009. Dr. Hans Gummert has been responsible for Finance and Quality Assurance for the same period. After six years, Dr. Pär Johansson is now starting his third term in management and is responsible for Human Resources (previously also IT).
Dr. Peter Ladwig, Partner in Stuttgart, and Dr. Johan Schneider, Partner in Hamburg, will be new management board members. Dr. Peter Ladwig has been with Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek since 2014. Previously CEO of boerse-stuttgart AG, he is a corporate lawyer and will be responsible for IT and Digitization.
Dr. Johan Schneider, who joined the firm in 2003 and has been an Equity Partner in Hamburg since 2010, is a young partner who started his career at Heuking. Schneider has been a site representative for the Hamburg office since 2016. As a new member of the management board, he will be responsible for Organization and Business Processes.
“We are extremely pleased to strengthen our management board with these two outstanding and pleasant colleagues,” said Dr. Andreas Urban, commenting on the election of the new management team. “To meet the firm’s strong growth and to pay the necessary attention to the more recent topics of digitization and process optimization, we have decided to expand and simultaneously rejuvenate the management board while distributing the workload more evenly,” Urban added.
