WirtschaftsWoche recognizes the Restructuring practice at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek and thus the law firm as a top law firm in this field. Munich-based Partner Prof. Dr. Georg Streit is considered one of the most renowned lawyers in this field.
 
Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI) surveyed over 1,000 lawyers from more than 90 law firms about the work of their peers and drew up a list, which it submitted to an expert jury. The jury then selected the 35 top restructuring law firms and the 53 most renowned lawyers in this field.
 
Heuking’s Restructuring practice comprises some 50 members who advise and represent companies and general managers, members of executive and supervisory boards, as well as other stakeholders in corporate restructuring, in measures to overcome crises or to avoid insolvency (restructuring debt, restructuring transactions, debt-equity swap, trust models, etc.) or in protective shield and insolvency (plan) proceedings.
 
The work of these lawyers had previously been recognized by WirtschaftsWoche in the fall of 2018, when Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek was awarded the title of Top Law Firm in Insolvency Law.
