Heuking reinforces patent team with European Patent Attorney Isabella Sommer-Zhang

Heuking’s Düsseldorf office is adding a new team member: As of January 17, 2022, Isabella Sommer-Zhang (31) will join the successful patent team led by Partner Dr. Anton Horn as European Patent Attorney. Ms. Sommer-Zhang is an electrical engineer (RWTH Aachen University, Bachelor's and Master’s degrees) with particular experience in the fields of software, artificial intelligence, and blockchain.
 
“Ms. Sommer-Zhang has exceptional technical expertise in key technologies. These technology areas are already of fundamental importance to many clients and will become even more important in patent law and many other fields of law,” said Dr. Anton Horn.
 
With the addition of Sommer-Zhang, the number of lawyers working in patent law at Heuking increases to six. A patent paralegal has been supporting Horn’s team since the beginning of January 2022 as well. The patent law department is also scheduled to grow further in the future.

Heuking 在杜塞尔多夫的办事处迎来了一名新的团队成员：从 2022 年 1 月 17 日起，张晓丹（31 岁）将加入合伙人 Anton Horn 博士领导的成功专利团队，担任欧洲专利法。张女士是一名电子工程师（拥有亚琛工业大学学士和硕士学位），在软件、人工智能和区块链的领域上拥有丰富经验。
 
“张女士在关键技术方面拥有非凡的技术专长。这些技术领域对许多客户来说已然至关重要，并且，在专利法和许多其他法律领域的重要性也将日益增加，”Anton Horn 博士表示。
 
随着张女士的加入，Heuking 从事专利法工作的律师数量增加到 6 名。并且，从 2022 年 1 月初开始，一名专利律师助理也一直在支持 Horn 的团队。专利法部门也计划在未来实现进一步发展。
