Heuking advises and supports Mobilize Financial Services on the acquisition of financing and leasing software Miles

A team led by Dominik Eickemeier (Cologne), Partner at Heuking, legally advised and supported Mobilize Financial Services on the acquisition of the “Miles” financing and leasing software.

The project lies at the heart of Mobilize Financial Services’ IT landscape overhaul in Germany. A model was devised and implemented in collaboration with Anette Brauer, Head of Legal, and Karim Tsouli, IT Director for the German-speaking region, which serves as guideline to other Renault group companies. All group firms are able to conclude their own contracts with the service providers participating under the framework agreements without having to renegotiate the core issues of their collaboration.

Miles is a Sofico product that enables the bank to handle and manage the leasing business (finance leasing). Sofico is the world’s leading supplier of mission-critical software solutions for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management companies. Founded in 1988 in Ghent, Belgium, the company currently employs 380 people in eight offices worldwide.

Mobilize Financial Services is the commercial brand of RCI Banque S.A. German branch, which is a part of French bank RCI Banque S.A.
