HEUKING's Munich office welcomes two new Salaried Partners at the start of 2025

HEUKING's Munich office will expand its leadership team with the addition of two new Salaried Partners on January 1, 2025.

Dr. Steffen Burrer (44) will join the team led by Dr. Armin Freiherr von Grießenbeck, bringing his expertise to further develop the Litigation & Arbitration practice at HEUKING.

Dr. Björn Grotebrune (40) will strengthen the Restructuring and Insolvency Law department under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Georg Streit. Both incoming Salaried Partners join HEUKING from Noerr.

Steffen Burrer is a Certified Specialist Lawyer in International Business Law and has been a litigation attorney at Noerr since 2013. His work focuses particularly on product liability law as well as international commercial and civil procedure law. Burrer possesses extensive experience in conducting judicial and extrajudicial disputes, especially those with an international dimension. He also brings specialized expertise in European and international foreclosure law. Drawing on his years of advising in product safety law, Burrer effectively combines in-depth knowledge of product liability with regulatory expertise, particularly in the automotive sector and supplier industry.

Björn Grotebrune has been advising and representing clients since 2014, gaining extensive experience in insolvency and restructuring law. His clients include creditors – particularly banks, insolvency administrators, shareholders, companies, and their executive bodies. Grotebrune focuses on advising clients on insolvency-proof structures and minimizing risks, such as avoidance claims and bad debt losses, when drafting transactions, contracts, and other legal acts.

As of January 1, 2025, 80 lawyers will be practicing at the Munich office.
