Procurement team Jasper/Westen advises regio iT on establishing a purchasing cooperative
The public procurement law experts led by Ute Jasper and Laurence Westen advised regio iT Gesellschaft für informationstechnologie on establishing a purchasing cooperative. Under the name of “oneMETERING,” Regionetz GmbH, enwor energie & wasser vor Ort GmbH, Stadtwerke Jülich GmbH, and Alliander Netz Heinsberg GmbH intend to bundle their strengths with regio iT gesellschaft für informationstechnologie mbh and act as a procurement unit on the market.
“The purchasing cooperative will assist in economically implementing the energy turnaround and the topic of the Smart City. We expect significant improvement in purchasing conditions compared to independent procurement,” said Ute Jasper, Partner and Head of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek’s Public Sector & Public Procurement Practice Group.
