Rhineland Pitch: Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek supports startup event in Düsseldorf

As a partner of STARTPLATZ Düsseldorf, Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek sponsors the Rhineland pitch and supports young entrepreneurs in implementing their business ideas.

The Rhineland pitch is a competition held once a month alternately in Cologne and Düsseldorf. At each event, up to four start-ups are given the opportunity to present their business ideas on the big stage to usually more than 100 attendees, consisting of potential investors, companies, start-ups, and interested parties. The audience then elects the winner via online voting. In addition, there are summer and winter finals in which the winners of the regular Rhineland pitches compete against each other. Dr. Kirsten Thiergart and Astrid Luedtke, lawyers at Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek, as members of the jury will decide on the winners at the summer finals in Düsseldorf.

In 2013, the Rhineland pitch was initiated by STARTPLATZ, which assists young founders in the strategic development and successful implementation of their company ideals. The offer includes advice from experienced founders and a versatile workshop and lecture program of the Startup Academy.

The next Rhineland pitch will be held at STARTPLATZ Düsseldorf on October 31, 2016. Additional dates will follow in February and April 2017. The summer finals will be held in June 2017.
